100615 Tuesday: Deadlifts every 2:30

100615 Tuesday EVERY 2:30 perform 2 deadlifts x 7 rounds, We are taking away 30sec rest each round compared to 100519. Can you do the same work in less time? Not easy (17:30 verse 21:00) Score average load used over all 7 rounds. Suggested load around 82.5%. Misses count as Zero. You can make up a missed rep in the last (7th) round only.

“After Party”: 40, 30, 20 of Alternate WOD

“Alternate WOD”: 50,40,30,20,10 KB High Pull,  SLAMBALL (sub Sledge strike if not enough slamball)

    Down from 319# average last time. Form wasn’t great. Wore Do-Wins for the first two rounds but felt they were hurting form, so went barefoot for the rest.

    Doing two reps in 1:15 was plenty of time, even towards the end.

    worked with Gar which helped. Missed 2nd rep on rd 6. Avg weight is 5 lbs higher than last time but I started at 285 and rose to 345 then. Don’t think I could have done 345 twice today. Interesting.

    Average: 316.4 (315 x 6, 325 x 1).

    Could have probably gone a little heavier. No after party, yesterday’s Wet, Hot and Heavy crushed me.

    Min load = 405 (315 at end for 2 failures)
    Max load = 435

    Should have gone more consistent and not so heavy.

    I forgot to count my miss as zero.

  11. Haven’t done DL in so long. Came out with a 139.2 average.

    High was a 150 x1 and had to make up the miss in the last round.

    315 mean. Went 315 for all 7 sets. Lower back felt good. 2 sets of 15 reps on reverse-hyper before & after WOD.

    315 x all 14 lifts. Each round felt harder, required more time, and the form on rep 2 was worse and worse.

    After party – tabata row 10 rounds – range 89-96 meters.

    Started at 335 and bumped 5lbs every set to finish at 365.
    After party – tabata row 10 rounds – range 98-103 meters.

    Worked with 2 motivators using the same bar: Joaquim and Jonas. Both are Horses!

    345 average, I don’t remember the progression, but I know we started at 325 and went up from there. I let the “good” Pete load the bar and I just pulled from the floor. Good times!
