101005 Tuesday Thruster x 3,3,3,1,1… (work up to a heavy triple, then move to a couple of max singles)

Compare to

“Cathy P. After Party” 300 meter row, 30 wallball, rest 1-2 min, repeat. Record fastest round in comments. Also record the difference in time from fastest round to slowest and asses a 1 burpee Penalty for each second difference.

    Thrusters x3: 75,95,115,135,155
    Thruster x1: 165,170,175
    Afterparty: No wallballs so I did tabata rows, :40/:20 x 10 rounds = 191 high, 174 low.

    Felt awesome today. For thrusters did the following triples:

    45-95-115-135-155

    Hit all of them with good speed. Went for 165 by 3, but no speed, so I just did a single. By speed, I don’t just mean speed in the middle, I mean that I was able to bang out all 3 fast. Didn’t have to stop, rerack, and then go.

    Then hit 185 by 1. It was fugly, but I’m gonna count it.

    Then did 5 rounds of the AP with times of:

    2:21, 2:24, 2:23, 2:28, 2:26

    Got all 30 wall balls in each round without dropping. Did 7 burpee penalty, ate my sweet potatoes/applesauce/bananas, and got my butt in gear for the day.

    205 Thruster, matched previous best
    After Party: 5 intervals ranging from 2:15 – 2:42, this equaled 27 burpees!!

    205, 220 (fail), 215 (fail). Was trying to beat old PR of 215. Left shoulder not all there today from previous clean and low bar back squat work. Next time, although I said that last time. Let the journey continue.

    After Party fail. Did 2 rounds 2:220 and 2:20 – then packed it up.

    This After Party was a little too soon after 4 days of Vegas Party for MarkyD. Sleep and paleo deficit.

    195 x 1, failed twice at 205, close on the 2nd time but no cigar

    AP 3 rounds from 2:16 to 2:44 = 28 burpees- rough!
