101228 Tuesday: “Mary”
20 Minute AMRAP: 5 Hand Stand Pushups, 10 Pistols, 15 Pullups
If you don’t have an ASS-to-ANKLE Air Squat you won’t have Pistols. Sub ASS-to-ANKLE elevated jumping lunge instead.
5 2/3 rounds. Did a few pistols, but mainly did weighted lunges with 45# each hand. Elevated my hands for the HSPU on 25# plates to increase ROM.
6 1/3 + 8 pistols
-elevated pistols with 2.5 lb plate, held on to cage coming up from left side pistols
-elevated handstand pushups with 1 abmat (swimming and the strength cycle have strengthened my shoulders significantly!)
5 2/3 rounds + 7 pull-ups. Subbed elevated reverse lunges (2-45# plates) for the pistols. This was my first WOD without subbing HSPU. Range of motion wasn’t pretty (2 Abmats) but I got them done.
First time back after almost 2 weeks.
7 rounds. Subbed elevated reverse lunges for pistols. All HSPU unbroken.
7 2/3 rounds:
5 handstand pushups on parallettes (oh my)
10 reverse lunges (2-45# plates) for the pistols
First day back at cfot in a week. It’s good to be home.
7 1/3 rounds:
4 rounds (rx)
3 1/3 rounds sub dumbbell strict press
Pistols – 65% right leg, 35% left leg
7 rounds, abmat for HSPU’s
