-tried to hang with Gar but DU’s (which improved) slowed me WAY down. I am glad DU’s are in the WOD’s. My runs need improvement, as well, as I have deceptive speed: I am slower than I look. Overall, a good WOD to get some sweat on.
36:57 HTFU subbed row (thats a total of 4,000m on the row – that sucked!!)
30:10 HTFU…now that was a lot of running in frigid weather.
In spite of what my slow time may suggest, I was really huffing and puffing during this WOD. And it wasn’t because I was tired or sore; I need to increase my respiratory capacity. Must do more intervals. (Bleh)
DUs slowed me way down. I second Mike’s comment about being glad that DUs are in the WOD. I need the practice.
The KB swings were a nice “break”.
It was my first HTFU attempt. I did the first 40 KB swings unbroken. (I have to celebrate the small things.)
Double unders were much better today I got some strings and at one point did 14 in a row!
30:30 HTFU. Sloooow runs and crappy burpees. But it got done.

Ran 2.25 miles today. No I wasn’t supposed to run that much, but felt I had it in me. Pace was about 10 min which is about 30-40 sec off my usual 3mi run pace. About .25 at the end was “sprinting” down at 9min mile pace. Felt great doing it. Worn out sort of sore afterwards.
