When Did you Begin Training at CFOT?
What goals have you slayed so far?
OHS used to be my white whale. But, I worked them incessantly after the regionals in May 2009 and finally improved.
What are your Training Goals for 2011?
My current goal is to add at least 50 pounds to my back squat and nail the snatch.
What is your prior fitness background?
Played sports all my life. As an adult, did typical Globo-gym strength training. Fortunately, I was smart enough to hit major lifts (deadlift, backsquat, press) in addition to some bodyweight movements.
Anything heavy (e.g., deads, cleans) combined with anything complex (e.g., double unders, HSPU)
Least Favorite WOD and Why?
Murph. It’s long, boring, and too much cardio.
Favorite CFOT moments you’d like to share?
Doing the Affiliate Cup in Ohio with Lopes, Laurie, and Durk this last summer was awesome. There was a WOD with a nasty run where we had to carry sandbags up a nasty-ass hill. Durk stayed right behind the ladies, put his hand on their backs, and went up the hill with them. It was the ultimate sign off teamwork.

Everyone experiences the same level of pain. Join the club.
