At Crossfit Oldtown, our training program every week is designed to approach all functional movements that allows you to comfortably and safely challenge yourself. All of our movements during the “Workout of the Day” (“WOD”) can be performed “prescribed” (RX’d) or modified to suit your fitness level. Modifications may include using lighter weights, or using a band to support your bodyweight on pull-ups. It’s always so rewarding to see our members getting stronger and eventually working their way up to performing a WOD “RX’d”!
Our commitment is being able to serve everyone who walks into our box everyday. So we offer two types of WODs in classes — when we are working with barbells, we alternatively offer a “Fitness” WOD that is more cardiovascular and uses dumbells, kettlebells, box jumps, sit-ups, and running.
