1.  What got you into CrossFit?

My best friend coming home from a tour in Iraq, mentioned a new workout he was getting into called CrossFit.  He raved about its impacts and how much he loved it.  After some hesitation and coercing, I came into a foundations class at CFOT.  Initially, I didn’t really understand it, but quickly I found myself looking into what the WOD was going to be every day.  Planning on how I was going to attack each workout and analyzing what I could have done better after each one.  I had a foundation in powerlifting and found Crossfit to challenge me and bring me to the next level of fitness.  It has been a life-changing experience full of friendship, PR’s, and re-defining fitness.

2.  What got you into coaching?

MO-tivation!!  Coaching is natural and fun way to learn and interact with people.  I found myself talking, giving/taking tips, and becoming an individual people looks towards for guidance.  Coaching is a great way for me to give back to the community.  It’s always a learning process, but a fun one!

3.  What is the most rewarding part of coaching so far? 

There is nothing more rewarding than seeing someone set a goal, and helping them achieving it.  The look on their face and sense of accomplishment is what it’s all about.  Being a part of that is truly a powerful experience.
